World premiere of My Name is Khan will be held in Abu Dhabi next week.
Thousands of screaming fans are expected to descend on the capital on February 10 to catch a glimpse of the actor who is often called King Khan or the King of Bollywood.
The director, Karan Johar, has had a string of successes with films such as Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, starring Khan and the Bollywood actress Kajol. With this project he reunites the pair for the first time in eight years.
The film will be shown at the Berlin International Film Festival after its Abu Dhabi launch. It is set for world-wide release on February 12.
Bollywood superstar King Khan is very busy now-a-days. His highly expected film, ‘My Name Is Khan’ is about to release (February 12) and just after one month after the release, IPL begins. Last year too he was caught under similar situation when his film, ‘Billu’ and IPL nearly occurred together.
For a long time, Shahrukh Khan failed to deliver a big hit and now all his expectations surround around Karan Johar’s ‘My Name Is Khan’. Last year, his IPL team, ‘Kolkata Knight Riders’ doomed badly and so this year, he is planning new promotional strategies for his team.
